Life in July

I don’t even know where to start. A lot has happened recently and time doesn’t forgive anyone, deadlines are approaching, miss Rona is not bothering to take a break from invading the world and this summer is getting weirder and weirder each day. I mean who knew that weather during summertime in Vienna is so…rainy? On the other hand, I finally decided to make some new changes in my life, one of them being the new lifestyle that I adopted three weeks ago, I’m into intermittent fasting lately and if you do it properly, you will be shocked by how different you can feel even after the first week of trying.

Besides intermittent fasting, I finally decided to get a bike and explore Vienna almost daily. The feeling that you have when you go on late-night bike rides here is just incredible. This city has so much to offer and even after spending more than 10 months here, I still discover new stuff every single time I wander around. Me and German though, we still ain’t good friends, but we’re trying. I felt so happy proud when I went shopping yesterday and I had requested the nice lady from the meat counter to give me 200 grams of turkey ham…and guess what, she understood me clearly. So yeah, baby steps each day and after a while maybe I and German could be good friends in the end, eh, bitte?

As September is approaching, hopefully, some exciting stuff will happen and my international adventure can continue to develop as a permanent lifestyle as I obviously don’t intend to return to Romania unless we’re talking about short trips. I’m also intending to be more active on my blog, something which I haven’t been for quite a while now. Also, Taylor Swift decided to release an album, quite randomly, on a Friday afternoon. In case you didn’t listen to the lead single, please do, it’s a masterpiece! 🙂

Growing up in a small city, I never thought I would get the chance to travel the world, yet dreams can always come true. You just need to be dedicated, passionate, and always eager to try new things and never step away from being yourself.
