Erasmus in Coimbra, Portugal Part Two

Erasmus is a unique experience for everyone, in the majority of cases a positive one that basically changes your life and way of thinking for good. You can either do Erasmus for one semester or one year, the results are the same, the only difference is that it will be way more difficult to tear yourself apart from that city after living there for one year.

Once Erasmus, Always Erasmus.

I was lucky enough to get two Erasmus experiences during my studies, each one of them being different and special in different ways (that’s the reason why I can’t answer the question “Which was the best one?”). Last year I posted some series of pictures from my experience in Coimbra, Portugal since, sadly, my blog wasn’t active back then. (See the post here). Now I will post another series of pictures just to relieve the experience once more.*

*(BTW, please excuse the quality of the first pictures, I probably took them with my ancient phone back then, the others have a decent one though).
My first flight ever was to Portugal (Budapest – Lisbon 2014)
My first view of Coimbra, after 24 intense hours of travelling by car, plane, metro, train.
Traditional tiles that were everywhere on the streets + Paula’s legs.
Ancient Roman Bridge in perfect state even after 2000 years.
At the top of the hill where the Iniversity of Coimbra is situated. Gosh that view <3
The narrow streets of Coimbra. Always a pleasure to get lost on.

Growing up in a small city, I never thought I would get the chance to travel the world, yet dreams can always come true. You just need to be dedicated, passionate, and always eager to try new things and never step away from being yourself.
