Erasmus Diary 05: Winter in Zadar

It’s that time of the year when you complain about snow, cold and annoying carols…well, that’s not the case in Zadar, except the annoying carols. It’s the second year in my life when I had a Christmas without snow and I don’t regret it because it was the best Christmas I ever had. Weather here can be extremely confusing during winter, sometimes it rains, sometimes it’s so hot that you just want to wear a t-shirt and sometimes it gets so windy and cold that you feel worse than the main characters in Titanic.

I love it here and I know that my time in Zadar is almost over but damn, I don’t want to think about it. These were 6 months that brought many changes in my life and the fact that I have to go home makes me sad and happy at the same time. Here are some photos from Zadar made in December/January.

Growing up in a small city, I never thought I would get the chance to travel the world, yet dreams can always come true. You just need to be dedicated, passionate, and always eager to try new things and never step away from being yourself.
