Erasmus Diary 01

It’s a bit late to start an Erasmus Diary but it’s never too late to express your thoughts about it. My Erasmus Journey started in late September when I arrived in the beautiful city of Zadar, situated in the amazing Dalmatia. The weather here is just perfect and probably choosing this city as my second Erasmus destination was the best decision ever.

I love it here, the cheap food, lifestyle and the people (not all of them tho’) are the most perfect things about my Erasmus. Besides my snoring roommate, bad canteen food and daily drama I can fully say that everything is perfect. It’s been less than three months but somehow I feel that I’ve changed so much and I’m happy that this Erasmus is so different from my previous one in Coimbra, Portugal. People keep asking me which Erasmus Experience is my favorite but honestly it’s really difficult and impossible to choose one. Each one of them were spectacular and special so I guess that’s the beauty of travelling and studying abroad, it’s different every time.

Being out of my comfort zone has recently become a hobby to me and that’s what I love about the new me. It feels so great to experience new things and I will never have enough words to say how much this experience means to me. I’m grateful to everyone who supported me and it gives me chills just thinking about how fast time is running. I have a lot to say about life in Zadar but given the fact that I’ve opened my blog only a few days ago, I will do my best to keep on writing about this great experience and hopefully I can encourage people in my University or from all over the world to give Erasmus a try and trust me…you will never regret it.

Growing up in a small city, I never thought I would get the chance to travel the world, yet dreams can always come true. You just need to be dedicated, passionate, and always eager to try new things and never step away from being yourself.
